AIM OF SAINIK SCHOOL: They prepare boys academically, mentally and physical for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other professions.
Eligibility for entrance test in sainik school
For Class VI: Boys between 10-11 years as on 1st July, 2015 (i.e. Boys born between 2nd July, 2004 to 1st July, 2005).
For Class IX: Boys between 13-14 years as on 1st July, 2015 (i.e. boys born between 2nd July 2001 to 1st July 2002 and passed class VIII from a recognized school).
Mode of Selection: For Class VI and IX: Through All India Entrance Test, Personal Interview and Medical Fitness Test.
