Doe v. Irwin, 441. Supp. 1247 (W.D. Mich. 1977): The right of parents to the care, cusotdy, and nurture of their children is of such a character that it cannot be denied without violating those fundamental principles of liberty and justice which lie at the base of all our civil and political institutions....(and as such) are fundamental rights protected by First, Fifth, Ninth and Fourteenth Amendments.To safeguard the right of parents to raise their children as they see fit, free of government intrusion, except in cases of neglect and abandonment, is to safeguard each child's need for continuity. This is our rights and obligations to our children. Laws made to protect parents aswell as children. As a parent of 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren, Not only do I expect"authority Figures" to uphold these laws but to respect them! And any human being involved! Our system is failing our children.too many children are ripped from thier families without any consideration for the child. Our children are disposable in our confused and overloaded judicial system. I am writing this because 2 very close friends lost their children to our corrupt society and before they could prove their innocence were informedthat their 10 yr old son drowned in "The care" of this system....The last to know! So many children die in their own home from neglect and abuse, After many times of being reported! we tend to overlook what is not desirable without any remorse. But we are all differant. And what may be undesirable to some could be way of life for others, without choice.So who decides our childrens fate? Who do we turn to? Does society have a manuel? I do! Its the bible. Our polititions talk about family and God and rights.But at the end of the day they take their arrogent asses back to their thrones and expect to make the decisions for God! Its time to stand up as parents, teachers, and authorities And save our children.our war isn't in Iraq. Its here,in our homes.WHY?
